Information included ACT test-taking tips and a reminder that now is not the time go into a slump. The Spink County Fraternal Order of Police of Redfield will be awarding a $250 scholarship to one graduating high school senior from a Spink County School District who plants to attend a University or Voc. School. A student directing their studies toward a Criminal Justice Degree will be awarded the scholarship in the event of a tie. The application due date is April 1st.
Dependents of VIETNAM ERA VETERANS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM (2-28-61 to 5-7-75) who have a 2.0 GPA or above can participate by completing a personal history form, presenting a photocopy of the parent’s DD214 or some other form of verification of military service and a current high school transcript with GPA. Three names will be randomly drawn from the pool of applications. Deadline is January 17, 2004
